Lucknow University Reduces Course by half for Examination

Lucknow: Keeping in mind the stress and limitations of online teaching , the course for 1st and 2nd year UG students was reduced to half.

The exams will be held from July 23 in three shifts. Each shift will be of an hour and the questions in a paper will be 40.


The final year examination will be held in annual examination mode in fact, it is the last batch which will be following the annual system. Examinations were earlier scheduled in March. Now, they will be held in two shifts, each of three hour duration, as followed earlier. However, students will have to answer only five short-type questions and not 10 as per earlier pattern. In long answer-type questions, earlier students had to answer four questions, one each from four units. Now, they can answer any four from a unit or units as per their choice No change has been made in duration and question paper format of PG semester examinations.
